HERE AT LAST

Brussels is such a great city.
Oh I'm so happy to be here.
We had a great trip, it took three days by train though we did stop off in Vienna.
What a place that is, the football was in full swing. The night we arrived it was Turkey v Croatia the city was full to brim of fans the noise the atmosphere the buzz.

Now I am sitting in the hotel foyer waiting to hear if we have a home our relocation lady should call any moment. Will keep you informed.
Very excited that we shall have somewhere to rest our weary limbs.

IThis weekend we are going exploring and I know a place were there is a super knitting shop.
Must take some photos and try and put them on my blog I now I need a little help with that.

Hide Yarn

Help we are travelling to Belgium tomorrow and I need to hide my yarn I have collected on my visit to Romania. Where does one put it? My dear husband doesn't understand the need for lots of different yarns especially when one is supposed to be travelling light. I think the best thing is to place it between all the magazines I have accumulated too. In for a penny in for a pound one might say.

I had a super weekend

Visited my Daughter and Granddaughters

Went to Brighton to see my husband finish the London to Brighton Bike ride (so proud of you ).

Heard we are leaving Bucharest this week to live in Belgium.

How I shall miss it here and all my lovely friends in the park.

Be back one day.

And heard we are going to Hong Kong and China for the whole of August.

What more could a girl want.

Romanian Wool Stall

Wool or shall we say yarn shops are not easy to find here, I found a stall on the market at Obar there was a fantastic array of different colour cotton yard made in Hungry "CATANIA" . So of cause out came my purse a 50g ball was Lei.2. an absolute bargain as Lei 4.40 is a pound. What colours well yellow,turquoise, purple, orange, red, fuchsia pink,bright green, pale green and cream.
Couldn't wait to get back and start crocheting.
Here is my effort I'm very excited I cant stops such a lovely mix of colours.

Romania v France

What a night we spent surround by yellow red and blue.
A big screen was instaled in Piata Revolutiei for all to see.
Local beer and sunflowers seeds were in abundance.
The supporters were happy and noisy the atmosphere was the best I have ever know at a football game, cant wait for the next one.
Come on ROMANIA !!!!!!!!!

Romanian Wedding

We went to our first Romanian wedding here in Bucharest. It was a very spacial day we were the only Westerners there and treated like royalty. Our day finished at four the next morning whata wedding !
